A nice summary of the cave exploration projects in Mexico by the La Venta Esplorazioni Geografiche group from Italy, except for the Cave of the Crystals at Naica, Chihuahua, subject of a similar book. There are color photos or cave or area maps on nearly every page. The Cuatro Ciénegas, Coahuila, and Río La Venta, Chiapas, areas are also the subjects of larger, more expensive books available from the AMCS. The first chapter is a general introduction to the caves of Mexico by Carlos Lazacano.
